Terms and Conditions
Payments
We use GoCardless as our preferred payment platform. When the clean is finished and if we haven’t collected payment already we will send you a request for payment via GoCardless and then payment will be collected 5-7 days after your clean. You will receive an email prior to your payment being taken informing you of the amount due and the date that the payment will be collected. You have full control over the Direct Debit. Full payment must be received within 48 hours of the invoice date (unless otherwise stated). We also reserve the right to pass unpaid accounts to a debt collector/solicitor for recovery/legal action, to whom we may assign the debt to collect.
Quoting
When filling in our online form, quotations will be displayed on screen and a copy of this will be emailed to us. We will then get in touch to confirm your quote. All quotations are valid for 30 days.
Window Cleaning
- On all window cleans we use pure water which is effective at removing general dirt from your windows and frames, if you have sticker residue, plaster or paint this will not be removed.
- If you have any broken / cracked panes of glass we will not clean them, we will inform you either face to face if you are home or via phonemail or message that we have not cleaned the particular window.
- On all initial cleans, we apply an additional charge to cover the extra time and pure water required to clean your property to our high standards. The charge varies depending on the property size and will be explained at the quoting appointment.
- We will always try to not clean your windows in the rain, however we do still work in light showers, we promise you that results will will remain to the same standard as if it was dry.
- We will clean your windows on your agreed regular schedule.
- We will always try to be reliable as we can for our customers and appreciate our customers being reliable for us.
- If you are not happy with the standard of the work carried out, you must inform us within 24 hours and we will come back to re-clean the area concerned.
- We will notify you when the next clean is due via message with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
- On the day of your arranged clean, gates must be left unlocked. If they are not, we will clean the windows we can access and the full amount will be charged.
Liability
Your Window Cleaner Lincoln do not accept liability for damage caused by any decorative or structural defects of your property.
Such defects may lead to water egress in areas such as flat roofing, roof light’s, roof lantern’s, velux windows, conservatory roofs and window frames.
Whether using water fed pole cleaning, cleaning by hand, or walking on a flat roof to access your windows, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the breakage or disintegration of any cracked, defective or broken part of your property or its fixtures and fittings since these issues are not caused by our cleaning process.
The brushes we use are specifically made for window cleaning and won’t scratch the glass.
Media Disclaimer
Very rarely photographs and footage may be taken when we are in your property. These may advertising on our website or on social media. Please contact us if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempted from this activity.
Referral Program
For each person that you refer who uses us more than once you will receive 50% off on your next window clean. This offer can be used as often as you like. The 50% discount can only be used for window cleaning.
Cancellations
If you would like to cancel your agreed regular service, please notify us via email or message with a minimum of 30 days notice.
We would request that if for whatever reason you cancel or we cannot gain entry to your property on the day, we reserve the right to charge you the full amount.
If you would like to cancel your clean without incurring a charge, we would require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
